Saddleberk’s mission is to provide the highest quality, most delicious, and most sustainable eating experience possible. We work tirelessly with our local farms to ensure that the heritage breed Berkshire hogs we raise truly exhibit the gold standard qualities for which the breed is known.
Our Heritage
Berkshires are the oldest purebred breed of pig in the world, and much like Wagu beef, the time, care, and standards needed to raise the breed are instantly noticeable in color, marbling, and flavor. Unlike their commercial counterparts, our Berkshires are meticulously cared for using best practice standards that still allow our pigs to be pigs.
Our Farm
All of our pigs are raised in an environment with access to fresh air, sunshine, and wholesome food. Combining the best pork with the best care standards and local accessibility makes Saddleberk Berkshire the finest eating, freshest pork you can purchase. And that makes a difference you can taste!
